Name Brands Will Never Be My Pursue

As far as the title is concerned, many friends of mine laughed at me that I am so hypocritical, and then they will take out many examples which once I did in crazy pursuing name brands to convince me that this title is totally a false. In fact, once I was a crazy fan of all name brands, especially in the mobile phone brands. However, the two experiences of mobile phone stolen make me be afraid to buy those expensive and famous mobile phones. Maybe I am lucky in comparing with those people who are stolen in almost everything, but in the mentality, I can say that I suffer from the same attack and hurt with same.

I still remember that I bought my first mobile phone in a rainy day when I was in high school. At that time, many classmates had their own mobile phones which are all famous brands in the world, such as Apple, Nokia and so on. In order to be one of the members of my friends with name brand, I decided to buy a mobile phone, but I could not ask my father to give my money, I began to take my first part-time job for cutting the garden grass for the rich people. Although that job was very hard, I insisted for almost a semester to save enough money to buy a relatively cheap mobile phone in name brand Nokia. I very cherished this mobile phone, and I still used it when my father bought a new one for me. In the year I went to college, it was stolen by someone in the street of the city my university located. I was so sad that I hated to use mobile phone, and then I rarely contacted with my friends and my family.

When I felt that my friends had been more and more far away from me, the boy who I loved for a long time sent me a new mobile phone which was as same as the one I used before, he put all the numbers of my good friends and my family (now I still am wondered how he gets these numbers) into the phone, and comforted me that every new thing would be old, this one would definitely can bring your sentiment and memory back. I accepted the new phone. At the same time, I also accept his love and heart. And this phone witnessed the process we loving, the good time we staying together, the beautiful dream we both have.

However, I wanted to say that maybe it was destined. In the day I graduated from university, I lost the phone and my love; we broke up because he longed for a better girl who could give help on his career. I said nothing, I believed God, the thing does not belong to you, and you will not get it no matter how much effort you pay.

Therefore, now I understand that name brands are just like the other ordinary things, they can not bring you any luck but hurt, and due to you attach more attention on the name brands, when you lost them, you will get more disappointment and sadness. In order to avoid being hurt again, I choose to regard the name brands with a common attitude. I believe that I will never pursue the name brands any more.
