As times change, bags are playing an increasingly important role in our daily lives. Wherever we go, whatever we do, bags are indispensable for us whether to go shopping or traveling. For different groups of people, they would make different choices in bag shopping. Also, for every individual, there are changes in his/her bag shopping during the process of growing up.
In our childhood, parents usually buy us little school bags with cartoon characters painted on them. These bags are generally shoulder bags. They are relatively cheap, so we can regularly have new ones every year or so.

After entering middle school or high school, we get bigger and higher quality bags instead of those little shoulder bags with naive cartoon pictures on them. These bags are often simple styled, but more expensive than what we used in primary school.

When we become college students, we have less lessons and more free time of our own. So our bags changed from the traditional school bags to those fashionable ones. However, it becomes a difficult job to meet the best ones that fit us, because there are various styles of bags and a long list of brands in the market. A quality bag may cost us a lot, so we have to ask for more pocket money or take part-time jobs in order to get our favorite bags.

After graduation from college when most of us find our jobs, we enter the real adult life. So we change our bags again to show our maturity and taste. Such bags are no longer used primarily to carry things but to match with our clothes or just for fun. Generally, these bags are quite expensive. And most of time, they are symbols of our social status and tastes toward the fashion.
In summary, great changes take place in our bag shopping during the process of our lives. Different bags we use in different stages of time are also the signs of our growth and development.
